Shanta Kuhl, President
Shanta joined The Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce in September 2007 after 10 years as President of the Taylor Chamber of Commerce. A native of Round Rock, Shanta is a graduate of the Institutes of Organization Management. A graduate of Texas State University, Shanta has also worked with the Johns Community Hospital in Taylor. Shanta supports the Economic Development, Governmental Affairs, Small Business and Retail Committees, and the CEO Roundtable.

Sherry Nefford, CVB Director
Sherry joined the staff of the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce in 1994 after serving as a volunteer on the CVB Committee five years prior to her employment. Her professional career began at Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) where she was employed for 11 years as Student Center Services Coordinator. When her sons started school she returned to work in her home town working for the City of Seguin as the Assistant Manager of the Coliseum. As CVB Director her job consists of marketing Seguin as a meeting and tourist destination. She serves as President for the Texas Independence Trail Region for the Texas Historical Commission. She is a member of the board of directors for the I-10 Corridor Association and the Central Texas Bluebonnet Travel Council. She is a member of the Texas Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus as well as the Texas Travel Industry Association. Sherry is responsible for the Convention and Visitors Bureau Committee, Sports Marketing Committee, and Pecan Fest Committee. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and attending regional festivals. She has two adult sons, Travis, employed at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, and Tracey, a student at Texas Tech University.

Kendy Gravett, Office Manager
Kendy's position at the chamber includes accounting, purchasing, and budgeting, along with coordinating membership, services, mixers, ribbon cuttings and ground-breakings, committees and volunteers. Kendy joined The Chamber in 2003 and staffs the Industrial Relations Committee, and the Annual Banquet. This busy mom is a member of Hillcrest Assembly of God and Women's Ministries.

Dana Overstreet, Events and Communications Director
Dana joined the Chamber in late 2004 with 20 years of event planning and promotion behind her. Armed with a Journalism degree, she spent 10 years in the newspaper business, and worked with Hope Hospice, the Children’s Museum in New Braunfels, as well as a catering company and several small businesses. Dana coordinates and oversees Freedom Fiesta, Showcase Seguin, and Central Texas Golf Fest, Central Texas Senior Men’s Golf Fest, Seguin Chamber Classic and Leadership Seguin program and works with the Seguin Youth Leadership Academy. She also maintains the website and compiles the monthly newsletter that focuses on Chamber members and events.

Michelle Morris, Administrative Assistant
Michelle joined the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Convention & Visitors Bureau in June 2006. Her duties at the Chamber include coordinating Chamber Membership(s), Mixers, Ribbon Cuttings and Ground-Breakings, committees and volunteers, answering phones, greeting visitors, responding to information requests and helping maintain the Chamber of Commerce website. Michelle supports the Ambassadors program, along with the Education Partnership and Beautification committees. She is a member of the Leadership Seguin Class of 2008-2009. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Amanda Gold, CVB Services Coordinator
Amanda has worked for the Seguin Chamber of Commerce and the Convention & Visitors Bureau for several years. Her duties at the Chamber includes answering phones, mailing visitor packets, assisting with tours as well as helping out where she is needed. Amanda supports the Convention & Visitors Bureau Committee and Pecan Fest Heritage Days Committee.
