Description: This session is designed to explore issues of particular concern to employers, general information about key trends in HR and red flags for concerns in the area of employment. Understanding compliance guidelines helps create effective and legal employment processes, allowing small business owners to respond strategically to workforce issues. Developing objective HR tools keeps employers compliant with federal and state regulations as well as encourages management consistency. Employing effective HR management processes promotes improved and sustainable business practices and can lead to increased economic opportunity for all.
