Tuesday , February 21, 2023, the founder of the Texas Agricultural Education and Heritage Center (The Big RedBarn), Wilfred Bartoskowitz, accepted the Community Champion award for having outstanding positive impact within the community. Bartoskowitz embodies the mission of the rodeo by promoting and facilitating agricultural education of youth through his non-profit, The Red Barn. He also worked to create the Puls Farm for local students to house FFA and 4H projects.

Students that attended school tours and festivals at the red barn now lead school tours for the rodeo and many projects housed at Puls farm competed and placed at San Antonio Stock Show.

He has facilitated the education of youth, 4-H, FFA and has provided scholarships for generations of students.

This award is well-deserved recognition for Bartoskowitz's dedication and hard work in promoting agricultural education and heritage in the local community. His efforts have not only provided opportunities for youth to learn about agriculture but have also helped to create a new generation of leaders in the field. Congratulations to Wilfred Bartoskowitz and the Texas agricultural education and heritage center for their outstanding work!
