Applications being accepted for Seguin Area Youth Leadership Academy

Seguin, TX (March 27, 2023) – The Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for the Seguin Area Youth Leadership Academy (SAYLA).
    SAYLA will develop youth leaders with a theoretical and operational foundation in the essentials skills, beliefs and practices of leadership to prepare the students to make a positive impact on the quality of life in their community.
    Students must be enrolled in school for Guadalupe County or home school and entering their fall school year as a Junior or Senior in high school. Each student must complete a SAYLA application in full and provide two letters of reference, must have a valid email address that is checked regularly, and may not have previously served as a member of SAYLA. 
    SAYLA will meet one entire week in June (June 10 – June 16) from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. The SAYLA application can be found at https://www.seguinchamber.com/seguin-area-youth-leadership-sayla. The deadline to apply is Monday, May 1, 2023.
